Head of Computer Science

The British Secondary and High School Section (BSHS) of the Taipei European School (TES) is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Head of Computer Science. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who values collaboration and is dedicated to the holistic development of our enthusiastic and conscientious students. Additionally, experience with relation to practical applications and connections to industry would also be a desirable attribute. The successful candidate will lead a team of four teachers

The ideal candidate will have experience and success in teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) Computer Science and IGCSE Computer Science. In terms of learning and teaching we seek an excellent classroom practitioner who values collaboration and is dedicated to the holistic development of our enthusiastic and engaged students. 

Students at the British Secondary and High School (BSHS) follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP)/English National Curriculum followed by International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) coures before moving on to the IB DP. TES students come from a range of diverse backgrounds and nationalities, and matriculate to some of the world’s best universities.
